What happens when a school really thinks about what makes a healthy environment full of learning, growth, exploration, and kindness. The Frederick Gunn School is a beautiful community full of kids wanting to look back at their time in boarding school with the biggest smile and warming heart.
I had the privilege of visiting the school for a week to photograph for their new website, this school will always remain dear to me for their goodness.

A school with a commitment to athletics in the upper school, and a joyfulness in the lower schools.
I’ve visited Pingry multiple times, providing photos to frame on their admissions offices’ walls and for their promotional materials both print and web.

THE MADEIRA SCHOOL

I could not have met girls more confident, quirky, welcoming, and robust than at Madeira. After spending a couple weeks there, I’ve gained three hundred new friends who will undoubtedly will be out in the world changing it for the better. This is a school that carries a strong voice and makes sure it shares it with its students. These are photographs made during film production for school admissions.
St. BERNARD’s SCHOOL

A school that prides itself it exactly what it has been doing and what it is doing now: raising and educating boys. One of the schools I felt most connected with through it spirit and its people. A K-9 all boys school that all study under one roof in the Upper East side of Manhattan. What I saw was a history of role models, each boy passing down the pride it inherited from their predecessors.

A school with strong values. If you want to see grit, perseverance, ambition, and hard work, come see the cadets that come out of this school. This is a school that takes itself seriously in the things that need to be taken seriously, like flying a plane or raising the flag every morning. It was an honor spending time here photographing its students.
